Retrieving a Message From Galaxy S4 Results in a Microsoft Outlook Error

One user complains that she keeps on getting the ?Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close? error whenever she gets a message from her boss? Galaxy S4 from Verizon. But personally, I think that the problem is in the Outlook app not on the Galaxy S4. The Outlook application must be corrupted or there must be some other application interfering with its function.

Solution to the Outlook Error Message

One way to solve the error is by updating the version of your Outlook application or by?re-installing?it. Then, if the problem persists, try booting your computer under Safe Mode. This will let you confirm whether there is another application causing the error.

Starting Microsoft Outlook in Safe Mode

You can also start Outlook in Safe Mode using the steps provided by the Microsoft forum below:

1. Hold the Windows key plus the R button.

2. Then type ?Outlook /safe? (without the quotation marks) in the box. Take note that there is a space between the word Outlook and the slash symbol.

3. Hit the Enter key.

4. Try disabling the add-ins too because these might be causing the trouble.
